The Rheumatology Team concentrates on the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disease and autoimmune conditions. When the immune system provokes unnecessary inflammation, this can result in damage to joints, muscles and bones. Diagnosis starts with a comprehensive evaluation that may include X-ray and MRI as well as a complete physical exam. Early diagnosis and treatment can result in reduced disability and discomfort.

We work closely with our patients to ensure maximum benefit with minimal adverse side effects. Everyone experiences occasional joint and muscle discomfort. However, when this pain persists, your primary care physician may recommend that you see a rheumatologist.
