Patients who have been diagnosed with early stage kidney disease can often benefit from medications and ongoing monitoring. Access to dialysis or a kidney transplant is required for those whose disease has advanced to a later stage. With incidences of diabetes increasing nationwide, kidney disease becomes an important consideration.
