Shailyn A. Gonzalez, PA-C, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care from Stony Brook University and subsequently completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Stony Brook University. Ms. Gonzalez is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Prior to joining White Plains Hospital, Ms. Gonzalez worked at Stamford Health and NYU Langone Medical Center in cardiac electrophysiology, where she gained extensive experience in device management and electrophysiologic procedures. She began her physician assistant career in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Beth Israel Medical Center, managing critically ill postoperative patients and performing advanced bedside procedures. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, building a strong foundation in cardiopulmonary care.
Ms. Gonzalez is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society, the New York State and the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Association of Respiratory Care.
Her clinical interests include cardiac arrhythmias, device management, and electrophysiology procedures.
