About
Dr. Marisa M. Ramirez is the Director of Audiology at White Plains Hospital, where her responsibilities include overseeing the cochlear implant and osseointegrated devices program; conducting audiologic evaluations for patients of all ages, from infancy to adulthood, and providing appropriate counseling and recommendations; performing auditory brainstem response testing; and conducting newborn hearing screens. She also collaborates closely with the physicians and Director of Hearing and Balance Program.
Dr. Ramirez received her graduate degree from the New York Doctor of Audiology Consortium – Hofstra University, after which she completed graduate externships at Advanced Audiology of NY, the Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, and Hackensack University Medical Center. She then completed a residency in audiology at Hackensack University Medical Center and Hackensack Audiology & Hearing Aid Associates.
Before joining White Plains Hospital in November 2024, Dr. Ramirez practiced at Montefiore Medical Center, where she advanced to the role of senior audiologist.
