Dr. Craig David Hametz is a board-certified cardiologist who completed his medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital, followed by a fellowship in cardiology at North Shore University Hospital/Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Dr. Hametz has worked at several area institutions, including NYU Langone Hudson Valley Cardiology and, most recently, at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley – Cardiology. He served as chief of NYP Hudson Valley Hospital’s department of medicine, director of its noninvasive electrocardiography and cardiac rehabilitation division, and chair of its medical board and ethics committee.
A diligent researcher, Dr. Hametz has had his work published in a number of peer-reviewed medical outlets, and frequently speaks at a variety of professional and community events.
