Dr. Anila M. Thomas, board-certified in neurology and in clinical neurophysiology, earned her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine, where she also completed an internship in internal medicine. She then completed a residency in neurology, and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology, at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
Dr. Thomas treats neuromuscular neurologic conditions such as neuropathy, spinal stenosis, myasthenia, and ALS.
Dr. Thomas has served as an instructor of neurology to medical students and residents at her prior institution, and has had work published in such peer-reviewed publications as Neurology Clinical Practice, Continuum: Lifelong Learning in Neurology, and Journal of Voice.
Before joining White Plains Hospital, Dr. Thomas was employed at Advanced Neurology Associates and as an assistant professor of neurology at New York Medical College/ Westchester Medical Center.
