Dr. Ahmed Alemam is a board-certified gastroenterologist with White Plains Hospital Physician Associates.
After receiving his medical degree from Mansoura University in Egypt, Dr. Alemam joined The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center as a research intern. He then moved to New York City where he completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Icahn School of Medicine/BronxCare Hospital Center. He was named both a chief resident and a chief fellow.
He also completed a fellowship in advanced endoscopy at New York University Grossman School of Medicine/Langone Medical Center, where he received specialized training in complex endoscopic procedures including ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic resection, POEM, and bariatric endoscopy.
