The team of providers at Oncology & Hematology of White Plains is proud to be considered leaders in cancer care in Westchester County.  The members of this  premier team have been recipients of the Castle Connelly “Top Doctors” award for the last 20 years.

This practice was founded in 1995 by Dr. Sara Sadan and in January of 2013 became part of the White Plains Hospital Physician Associates Family.  The entire team’s vision is to treat the whole patient and not just the disease therefore; Oncology & Hematology of White Plains provides individualized medical care tailored to the specific needs of each patient and their family.  They do this by creating a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurse practitioners and support health care providers who are all committed to delivering the finest, state-of-the-art cancer care in a warm and friendly atmosphere.  The office and infusion suite consist of physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical assistants and administrative support staff, all of whom have a very important role in assisting each patient and their family on their individual path.

The physicians in the practice are board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology.   Each member of the group has considerable experience in caring for the needs of patients with a broad range of malignancies and blood disorders.  In this era of specializing and subspecializing within the medical profession, each of the physicians has a concentration and specialization in different cancers.

The doctors are leaders in the White Plains Hospital Cancer Center and actively serve as directors of various departments within White Plains Hospital Cancer Center.  The practice is also active in clinical research, offering numerous clinical studies for the appropriate patient.  They have extensive experience with personalized oncology medicine, including molecularly targeted therapies, immune therapy and genomic driven therapies as well as extensive experience and understanding of genetics and familial cancer predisposition syndrome, their screening, follow up care and risk reduction modalities.
