Carol Lederman, MD
Biography
Dr. Lederman received her medical degree from Cornell Medical College and completed residency in Internal Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. After serving one year as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, she completed fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center. She served New York Medical College as Assistant Clinical Professor for several years, as well as being an active member of the New York Blood Center Transfusion Service.
Dr. Lederman has been an active member of the White Plains Hospital community since 1999, serving as a member of both the Tumor Board and the Transfusion Committee. She was Chair of the Transfusion Committee for five (5) years. She has particular interest in the treatment of patients with benign blood and coagulation disorders as well as hematologic malignancies.
