Barry D. Wenglin, MD
Biography
Dr. Wenglin specializes in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease and is board certified in both specialties. He has a long and distinguished career as an attending physician at White Plains Hospital where he has served as Chief of the Division of Infectious Disease.
Dr. Wenglin takes pride in his diagnostic acumen, evaluating full history and test results with consideration of the whole patient. As a primary-care physician, he values his long-term relationships with patients, advocating for them and helping them navigate the complex medical scene.
Dr. Wenglin received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, and Fellowships in Infectious Disease at both the University of Kansas Medical Center and the University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson.
Dr. Wenglin offers a complete range of primary care services to patients, including routine examinations and annual physicals, wellness visits and preventive care. He also sees patients for a wide range of illnesses in the office and consults on cases of infectious disease in the office and hospital.
