Biography

Dr. Douglas J. Hart is Director of Echocardiography at White Plains Hospital. He specializes in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.

Pior to joining White Plains Hospital Physician Associates, Dr. Hart was Medical Director of Echocardiography at Westchester Cardiology Associates, which later became NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester.

Board-certified in echocardiography, cardiovascular medicine, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine, Dr. Hart earned his degree from the University of Michigan School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in circulatory physiology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and then completed a full cardiology fellowship at Georgetown University Medical Center with special concentration on echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

I am transitioning to *Dr. Hart as my cardiologist - presently he is working with my former cardiologist to collect information from tests that are coming up & will be shared between both doctors.

Dr Hart was very thorough. Brought up digitally my past medical records (prior stress tests) and primary care records. Retook my blood pressure (I was anxious first go round) which returned to normal levels. My primary had been concerned about my somewhat irregular heartbeat. Dr. Hart gave an in depth evaluation that allayed my fears.
