Dr. Palumbo was selected for the Commissioner’s Award for his leadership and collaboration in vaccinating, testing and compassionately caring for Westchester residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Hospital is one of just eight in New York state to be recognized.

It is one of just 10 hospitals in the state, and the only one in Westchester County, to be included on the prestigious list.

The laboratory’s new equipment strengthens the Hospital’s diagnostic capabilities and supports greater test and sample capacity with high throughput testing and redundancy.

Dr. Murthy cares for patients within the entire range of endocrine diseases, including diabetes, thyroid disease/thyroid cancer, and osteoporosis, among others.

In addition, Dr. Pontone will continue to practice cardiology two days a week, seeing patients at the Hospital’s Center for Advanced Medicine & Surgery.
