General Surgery

White Plains Hospital surgeons provide comprehensive surgical care for adult patients both in the hospital and ambulatory (outpatient) settings. All are trained in General Surgery, and they have additional specialty training in nationally recognized surgical sub-specialties.

Our skilled surgeons offer technical expertise and the most current diagnostic and treatment modalities for a variety of conditions that occur throughout the body. They are also specialists in treating certain non-surgical conditions of these organs and systems, such as pancreatitis, diverticulitis, and certain types of thyroid problems.

Using both traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques, our surgeons take pride in working closely with each patient to determine the best and most comprehensive approach for each individual, in a caring and compassionate manner. The Hospital’s new operating rooms are designed with integrated lights and booms to support the most advanced robotic and laparoscopic surgical procedures, enhancing efficiency, safety, and patient comfort.
