White Plains Hospital Welcomes Neurologist Dr. Michael C. Tamimi to Scarsdale Medical Group
White Plains, N.Y. (October 1, 2022) – White Plains Hospital welcomes neurologist Dr. Michael C. Tamimi to Scarsdale Medical Group in Harrison. His clinical interests include migraine management, medication overuse headache, and post-concussion care.
Dr. Tamimi obtained his medical degree from Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, N.J., followed by an internal medicine internship and neurology residency (where he served as administrative chief resident) at New York University. He then sub-specialized in headache medicine at New York University.
He has expertise treating various headache disorders include migraines, tension-type, and cervicogenic headaches, as well as performing procedures such as Botox, cranial nerve blocks, sphenopalatine ganglion blocks, and trigger-point injections.
Dr. Tamimi is certified by the American Academy of Psychiatry & Neurology as well as the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties, and is an active member of the American Headache Society and American Academy of Neurology.
