White Plains Hospital Welcomes Interventional Radiologist Dr. Alex Burn
White Plains, N.Y. December 11, 2021) – Board-certified interventional radiologist Dr. Alex Burn has joined White Plains Hospital, it was announced today. Dr. Burn’s specialties include interventional neuroradiology, and vascular and interventional radiology.
Dr. Burn received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where he also completed a general surgery internship. His residency was completed at Hartford Hospital, where he served as chief resident of its diagnostic radiology residency program; he followed that with an interventional radiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University.
His honors include receiving the Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) Roentgen Research Award. Dr. Burn’s work has been published in peer-reviewed journals Bioconjugate Chemistry and Discovery Medicine, and in the book The Value of BCG and TNF in Autoimmune Diseases.
