February 27, 2017 (White Plains, NY) – White Plains Hospital welcomes Dr. Jeffrey M. Jacobson to its Physician Associates Division. Dr. Jacobson is a board certified plastic surgeon with an additional board certification in hand surgery.
 
Dr. Jacobson received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Stony Brook School of Medicine with recognition in research and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his plastic surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC and an Orthopaedic Hand Surgery and Microsurgery Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
 
Dr. Jacobson has held research positions in biomedical engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering and orthopaedic biomechanics. In addition, he has authored or co-authored numerous articles and book chapters in several professional publications and has presented his research at national professional conferences.
 
Dr. Jacobson will see patients at White Plains Hospital Physician Associates offices in Harrison (914) 421-0123 and Armonk.
