Internist and Endocrinologist Alan Kantor, MD, Joins White Plains Hospital Physician Associates

White Plains Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Alan B. Kantor, a specialist in endocrinology and internal medicine, to White Plains Hospital Physician Associates.  A diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in endocrinology and internal medicine, Dr. Kantor specializes in diabetes, endocrinology and internal medicine.

Dr. Kantor received his medical degree from the University of Cape Town Medical School, South Africa, where he graduated with honors and distinction. He served his internship at Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town, in surgery, pediatric surgery, medicine and neurology. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Kantor offers primary care to diabetic, endocrine and other patients, including preventive care, sick visits for common illnesses, and will initially see patients at 1940 Commerce Street, Yorktown Heights.  His office can be reached at 914-245-1111. In the fall, he will move to 3379 Crompond Road, Yorktown Heights. He office number will remain the same.
