White Plains, N.Y., Jan. 1, 2022 – White Plains Hospital is pleased to welcome podiatrist Dr. Edward Costa to Scarsdale Medical Group. Dr. Costa specializes in surgical and nonsurgical management of all conditions that affect the foot and ankle, including heel pain/plantar fasciitis; Achilles tendinitis; bunions; fractures; ingrown toenails, diabetic foot care/ulcers; sports-related injuries; and pediatrics (age 2 and up). He previously had been in private practice in New York and New Jersey since 2010.

Dr. Costa earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his podiatric medicine and surgical residency training at Montefiore Medical Center, where he achieved chief resident status. He is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and was named one of New Jersey’s “Top Docs” three times by USA Top Docs. He is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

In addition to English, Dr. Costa speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
