White Plains, N.Y. (August 26, 2022) – Board-certified oncologist and hematologist Dr. Zunaira Choudhary has joined the White Plains Hospital Center for Cancer Care, the Hospital announced.

Dr. Choudhary specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of a number of cancers, including breast, urologic, gastroenterological, gynecological, lung and brain as well as malignant and benign blood disorders and diseases including anemia, sickle-cell, leukemia, lymphomas, myeloma, bleeding disorders and more.

Prior to joining White Plains Hospital, she was a medical oncologist and hematologist at the Patricia Lynch Cancer Center, part of the Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, N.J.

Dr. Choudhary received her medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University, with her postgraduate work including a residency in internal medicine at Northwell Health System and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Montefiore Medical Center’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Her work has been published in such peer-reviewed journals as The Journal of Clinical Oncology and The American Journal of Therapeutics.
