Dr. Sims Joins the Hospital at their Imaging at New Rochelle Practice

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (November 24, 2014) – White Plains Hospital has welcomed Radiologist Stephanie Sims, M.D. to its group of integrated physician practices as of November 7th. Dr. Sims has joined Dr. Pamela Weber, Director of the Outpatient Imaging Center at New Rochelle, located on the first floor of 1296 North Avenue.

Dr. Sims received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she also completed her Radiology residency and fellowship in Breast and Body Imaging. She is board certified in Radiology.

Dr. Sims brings 15 years of experience in breast and body imaging to New Rochelle as well as expertise in breast interventional radiology. In addition to standard radiology procedures, Dr. Sims has experience with newer technology including radioactive seed placement for surgical localizations.

White Plains Hospital Physician Associates Imaging Center at New Rochelle, is located on the first floor of 1296 North Avenue, in the Wykagyl Shopping Center. The facility, which opened last year, houses a comprehensive diagnostic imaging center providing CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound, 3D breast ultrasound, 2D and 3D mammography, bone densitometry (DEXA), ultrasound guided core biopsies and stereotactic core biopsies of the breast.

The two-story 18,000 square-foot facility is the first White Plains Hospital Physician Associates satellite practice and imaging center in the Sound Shore area and in addition to imaging capabilities, includes physicians specializing in primary care, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology , orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology.
