Neurosurgeon Adesh Tandon, MD Joins White Plains Hospital

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (December 8, 2015) – White Plains Hospital is pleased to welcome neurosurgeon Adesh Tandon, MD. Dr. Tandon will be seeing patients at the Hospital’s Surgical Oncology practice, located at 33 Davis Avenue in White Plains, and as part of the Hospital’s cancer program, located at 2-4 Longview Avenue in White Plains. Dr. Tandon performs brain and spinal surgeries for patients with both oncologic and non-oncologic disease.

Prior to joining White Plains Hospital, Dr. Tandon was an attending physician and assistant professor of neurosurgery in the Department of Neurosurgery at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. He has also previously held positions in the Departments of Neurosurgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA and Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx.

Dr. Tandon received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in Bronx, NY. He completed an internship in general surgery and residency in neurological surgery at Montefiore Medical Center. He also completed his residency and was Chief Resident in neurological surgery at Montefiore. He completed his fellowship in neuro-oncology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He is the author of numerous publications and presentations on neurosurgery and is a member of the Society of Neuro-Oncology, North American Skull Base Society, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
