Gabriela Anamaria Grasa, MD
Biography
Dr. Gabriela Anamaria Grasa serves as the Director of Outreach for Cardiology Services at White Plains Hospital. She is board-certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and internal medicine.
A native of Romania, Dr. Grasa graduated from the Carol Davila Medical School in Bucharest and completed her internship at St. Andrew Hospital in Galati. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. and her fellowship in cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Prior to joining White Plains Hospital Physician Associates, Dr. Grasa was a cardiologist at Westchester Cardiology Associates, which later became NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester. She has also conducted extensive cardiac-related research at Mount Sinai, Washington Hospital Center and the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland.
Among her honors, Dr. Grasa has been frequently named a Top Doctor by New York magazine, Westchester Magazine, Castle Connolly, and was also included in Castle Connolly’s “Exceptional Women in Medicine” in both 2020 and 2021.
She has been published in the peer-reviewed medical journal Clinical Cardiology and has presented at national and regional American College of Physicians (ACP) meetings.
