Biography

A New York native through-and-through, Dr. Monaco-Bavaro has lived and been educated in the New York metro area. She believes in giving back to the community and has chosen to dedicate her career to serving the medical needs of the women of Westchester and the surrounding area by practicing at White Plains Hospital.

After completing her undergraduate degree at Columbia University, Dr. Bavaro received her medical degree from New York Medical College and completed her Internship and Residency in New York Medical College. Dr. Bavaro speaks Spanish, and she has been in private practice since 1999. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr Bavarro offered several options/solutions to my complaint for me to chose from. I was only scheduled for a consult to discuss my complaints but I also received a pap/breast exam because I'd never had one. I received thorough care.

I liked Dr. Monaco Bavaro very much. This was my first visit. I had read good reviews of her online, and I am glad that I was able to rely on that information to find her. She was kind, friendly, attentive, she listened and was thoughtful about how to approach problems. She was thorough, and she took her time to carry out the examination. She impressed me as experienced and intelligent, and she inspired trust. Overall, I was very happy.
