Biography

Dr. Dianne Seo is a breast surgeon at the White Plains Hospital Center for Cancer Care. She performs breast biopsies, lumpectomies, mastectomies, oncoplastic surgery, and other procedures to treat breast conditions, such as breast cancer in both men and women.

Prior to joining White Plains Hospital, Dr. Seo was a program coordinator in Pediatric Endocrinology at Mount Sinai Hospital.

She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a residency in general surgery at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, and a fellowship in breast surgery at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Seo has presented at a number of medical conferences. In addition to English, she is fluent in Korean and proficient in Spanish.

Dr. Seo took her time explaining everything to me and going over my options, listening to my concerns. She is excellent! Even after leaving my appt. a few days later. I called her with a few more questions and she called me back a few min. later.

Dr Seo is absolutely amazing. Explained all my options, gave me advise, showed concern and talked to me like I mattered! Like a friend would. Unbelievable!! Absolutely amazing doctor!! Honestly hope I never have to recommend her to friends because of what kind of a surgeon she is, she would be the first person I mention!! Truly amazing...she have a beautiful heart!!

*Dr. Seo took her time explaining what was seen on my mammography, ultrasound and why a biopsy was done. I really appreciated her going over the images with me and not just talking about it. It made me feel well-informed and empowered. I was very nervous and scared she made me feel much better after the appt.
