Biography

Dr. Christopher Robles received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed an internship and residency in Family Medicine at Northwell Health’s Plainview Hospital.

Dr. Robles specializes in Family Medicine and Primary Care including routine examinations, immunizations, and management of chronic conditions. He believes strongly in forming meaningful relationships with his patients to help foster a personalized approach to healthcare. He combines this with a strong emphasis in evidence-based medicine to accomplish the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Robles previously served as the Associate Program Director for the family medicine residency at Northwell Health – Plainview Hospital. He was awarded the Northwell Health Teacher of the Year Award in 2015. He has given professional presentations on diabetic ketoacidosis and the autoimmune disorder antiphospholipid syndrome, as well as multiple presentations on how to more effectively teach residents.

Dr. Robles took time to listen thoroughly and fully to my symptoms and the history of the issue. He asked relevant questions along the way and took time to fully understand my issue. He made an initial recommendation for treatment and referred me to a gastroenterologist for follow-up.

I was forced to find a new primary care physician as my previous primary care physician was on a leave of absence with **. I am so glad I made the decision to select WPPA for my care provider. Dr. Robles Is excellent, listens to your concerns and provides explanations with information. The office atmosphere is updated with newer technology than my previous experience at **. I am confident I made the right decision to select WPPA for my primary care.

I've already recommended him to 2 people. He took as much time as we needed to get my medical history, which took about 40 minutes, and never made me feel rushed or like he wasn't paying attention. Also very good at directing & keeping up w/my ADHD conversation style/rambling.
