Barry D. Wenglin, MD, and Gary Zeitlin, MD, Join White Plains Hospital
First Infectious Disease Specialists to join White Plains Hospital Physician Associates
White Plains, N.Y. (July 17, 2017) – White Plains Hospital welcomes Dr. Barry D. Wenglin and Dr. Gary Zeitlin to its Physician Associates Division. Both Dr. Wenglin and Dr. Zeitlin are board certified in internal medicine and infectious disease.
Dr. Wenglin received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Columbia College, NY. He earned his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Kansas, Kansas City, and Infectious Disease fellowships at the University of Kansas, Kansas City, and the University of Arizona Medical Center.
Dr. Wenglin has served as Councilor to the New York Society of Infectious Disease and as Chairman of the Internal Medicine Section of the Westchester County Medical Society.
Dr. Zeitlin received his BA in biology cum laude from SUNY Binghamton University, Vestal, NY. He earned his medical degree at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine, Stony Brook, NY. He completed his residency in internal medicine at New York University Medical Center, and a fellowship in infectious diseases and immunology at NYU Medical Center. Dr. Zeitlin received the Fellow of the Year Award from the Division of Infectious Disease.
In addition, Dr. Zeitlin has engaged in research at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine and NYU Medical Center. He has authored articles in several professional publications.
Dr. Zeitlin and Dr. Wenglin will continue to see patients at their office at 56 Doyer Avenue, White Plains, where they have practiced for several years. Their office number remains 914-948-0500.
