Physical & Occupational/Hand Therapy
In partnership with Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, White Plains Hospital Physician Associates offers outpatient Physical Therapy and Occupational/Hand Therapy for a variety of diagnoses and/or conditions. Individually tailored to each patient’s needs, our goal is to help reduce pain, prevent further damage, and restore maximum function.
Our occupational/hand therapy focuses on the restoration of hand and upper extremity function. Our therapists utilize a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities and the use of customized splints to ease your symptoms, address post-operative or healing issues, and to prevent further damage.
Regardless of your needs, patient education is a cornerstone factor in our treatments, and may include adaptive techniques or retraining.
