Biography

Dr. Lea Meir received her medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She then completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and a fellowship in Rheumatology at Mount Sinai Health System.

Dr. Meir has conducted copious amounts of research, and has presented before such organizations as the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, the Society of Hospital Medicine, and the American College of Rheumatology.

Outside of the field of rheumatology, she has published work on the topics of analgesia and pain management as well as allergy and immunology.

In addition to English, Dr. Meir speaks Hebrew.
